Sir, presently am studying 7th sem mechanical engineering, my course ll completing in june 2015 . I have 45 X std English marks. But I scored 63 in diploma English. The criteria saying tht the English marks shd abve 50 in X std o 12th.. But they never mentioned abt diploma. Tel me am I eligible to entrance of gme o not. If I am eligible when shd I apply . I mean after completing the course o durin final sem (course ll b cmpltng at jun/July 2015)
Sir, I asked u about GME course about 3-4 months ago, and you provided me beautiful information regarding that. Well thanks for that. But sir, i checked around the web about the job after the GME course as junior engineer(fresher), and i got disappointed while reading some of the articles and confessions of the bitter truth of merchant navy. Some of them i want to share with you...hope u'll look at them.
After reading these blogs, articles and confessions, i am quite demoralised and confused about whether to go for Merchant Navy(GME) or not..cz i'll be pursuing this course with bank loan only.. and after having such a huge debt after passing the course with no job at hand will make my life hell.. also.. my uncle is in merchant navy as electrical officer...will he be able to help me in future or not..? Sir......I have secured 58% in PCM and 92 in English My overall Percentage in 5 subjects is 66% My IMU CET 2015 rank is 2029 am I still eligible for admission??

After completion of 1year gme course(8month classes and 4 months on board training as per AMEA), Will be eligible for doing a job on ship as engineer? Dear sir, I have completed B.E and I got selected by a company called Phoenix sea service Pvt ltd. And I had got admitted to Coimbatore marine college for GME course. But recently I searched in net and there are some complaints about that company as it is a fraud company. But I want to join merchant navy sir. So please suggest me what precaution should I take now so that I will get a job.. Please help me sir.

No, you cant apply for sponsorship at any time, as you are doing B.Tech in Marine.

ReplyDeleteIf you have sponsorship, that means you have a future job. But always try for a sponsorship from a confirmed company, and not any agent.
